In the Enuma Elish, divine powers existed in a primordial state, before the universe was created. Foremost among these was Apsu and his spouse, Tiamat. Tiamat is described as a serpent or dragon deity, connected with the waters that pre-existed the land and the stars. Tiamat represented salt water, and her husband Apsu (or Abzu) represented sweet or freshwater. It was the commingling of these waters that gave rise to the generation of gods. As pointed out in several sources, Apsu and Tiamat are not gods per se, but seem to represent proto-deities: perhaps natural forces out of which the Sumerian pantheon was born. We know from Genesis 1:2 that God is depicted as hovering or moving over the “face of the waters.” Thus there is some general agreement between the two texts that water pre-existed the rest of Creation. This sentiment is echoed in the Hebrew word for “the deep” or “the abyss” which is tehom, a word cognate with Tiamat. – Gods, Man, & War by Tom Delonge with Peter Levenda
UFOs in water, or unidentified submerged objects (USOs) have been on the mind of UFO researchers for a long time. The book “UFOs and Water” remains a popular selection. Since the Nimitz Encounters, UFOs in connection with water is looked at in a new light. Members of To the Stars Academy and others have mentioned USOs, and the important relation UFOs have to bodies of water. Let’s take a look.
An amazing video was leaked years ago from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. It was reportedly recorded by the United States Department of Homeland Security. Despite skeptical claims, if authentic, this video stands out as one of the best ever captured. It features thermal video similar to what we’ve seen released by the Pentagon. The UFO was spotted near the Rafael Hernandez Airport, but also traveled near residential areas. An extremely detailed analysis was done by the Scientific Coalition of Ufology. There is a lot of compelling evidence associated with this case as detailed in the SCU report. In the video it appears that the UFO dips in and out of the water, but doesn’t really slow down and even speeds up, as if the water has little to no effect on it. Some say the UFO in the video even splits in two at one point, watching the video it certainly appears that way, and the SCU investigation also comes to that conclusion.
One of the emails included in the John Podesta Wikileaks scandal mentioned UFOs transitioning from water. This account is totally unverified, but interesting nonetheless. (Thanks to Giuliano Marinkovic for reminding me about this. You can read more about it here.) The email was written by Bob Fish:
“In that same TS/SCI building cafeteria in El Segundo, I had lunch with a senior USAF NCO who had worked for Project Blue Book in the 1970s (after it had been “officially disbanded). He was an ELINT technician (electronic intelligence) who flew in RC-135s from MacDill AFB in Florida. The “normal” target was Cuba where they did lots of snooping and sometimes challenging the Cubans to turn on radar and other systems. He said there were times when they were diverted from these missions to track UFOs off the east coast of Florida. His claim was they UFOs had a landing and takeoff spot in the ocean east of Miami, north of Bermuda. He also claimed there was a specific electronic signature (frequency) emanating from them when they were going into or coming out of the water, so they were easy to track. On several occasions they filmed the UFO as it transitioned from water to air or vice versa.”
A case consistently referenced is the Colares Island Event(s). Since this event took place around the Brazilian coast, at some points water was closely associated with it. In his book “Confrontations,” Jacques Vallee wrote this:
“The reason the phenomenon could not be denied was very simple: every evening the UFOs appeared, coming from the north. In some cases, they flew down from the sky, in others, they emerged out of the ocean. I saw a photograph of an object with a luminous white ring flying right out of the brackish water at dusk.”
David Paulides, author of the Missing 411 series, was interviewed by George Knapp on 9-3-18. (Thanks to Giuliano Marinkovic for highlighting the quote and UFO Joe for the transcription.) Knapp and Paulides were speaking about the phenomena Paulides studies (not necessarily UFOs…but maybe UFOs) and how it might fit in. A big factor in the cases are water:
David Paulides: “And if you have a series of bank robberies, the bank robbers aren’t ever gonna do a bank robbery in their neighborhood because they don’t want to draw attention to it. And I’ve always stated that I think that this is related to the profile points that I gave you. One of those is water. And when you look at Mississippi and Louisiana, say, it’s just filled with water. And I have no cases from there. It’s bizarre! And isn’t there a lake, fairly near that (Skinwalker) ranch?”
George Knapp: “Yeah, it’s a reservoir. It’s called Bottle Hollow. It’s a man-made lake. It’s right in the middle of the Ute reservation. The Utes control that property. They allow camping and fishing and swimming and things of that sort. But at that lake is…has a long history of really weird stuff. Creatures have been seen there and objects coming in and out of the water. And there have been a lot of drownings. The Ute tribe believes there’s something in the water that pulls you down. A lot of people have drowned there.”
During an interview segment with Harry Reid, George Knapp reported this about the Pentagon’s UFO program:
“Reid said the study also investigated reports of USOs, unidentified craft detected underwater.”
The Nimitz Encounters changed everything. To date, it’s arguably the most well documented encounter of all time. (However, with the addition of new cases coming to light soon, that may change.) Not only did it take place over water, but possibly in the water. This quote is from the 2004 USS Nimitz Pilot Report:
“As source looked down at the ocean from the cockpit, they noticed a small patch of
water, approximately 60 feet wide by 80 feet in length that appeared choppy and
turbulent amongst a calm sea. The disturbance was unusual in that there was no apparent cause. The area was generally the shape of an oval and appeared to be ‘roiling’. Towards the center of the disturbance, the water appeared lighter color and smooth again as if an unknown object had recently submerged beneath the surface. Source opined they thought they were witnessing a crash, perhaps that of an unidentified aircraft, as they made the mental transition from intercept mission to search and rescue. Approximately two seconds after noticing the unusual water disturbance, Source described witnessing a small, unidentified aerial system (UAS) cross over the turbulent area of water. The unidentified object was elongated, approximately 30 to 40 feet in length, white in color, and described resembling a ‘”tic-tac” candy mint. The object had no distinguishable control surfaces, was uniformly smooth, with no windows. doors, or lights visible. The object was opaque with a solid, definable edge. The object did not appear to emit any noticeable light or radiation from its surface nor did it have any noticeable exhaust trail. The object traveled from left to right over the disturbed water at an altitude of approximately 1000 to 3000 feet. The object appeared to travel at a speed of approximately 300 to 500 knots in a straight line. Source was unaware of the origin of the object or its destination but believed the disturbed water below could have been related in some way to the object.”
One of the ‘Key Assessments’ in the Nimitz Executive Report stated this:
“The AAV possibly demonstrated a highly advanced capability to operate under sea, completely undetectable, by our most advanced sensors.”

One of the pilots during the Nimitz Encounter, Cmdr. Dave Fravor, has not only gone on record many times talking about his experiences, but he recounted a very interesting story during his interview with Jeremy Corbell:
Jeremy Corbell: “You did tell me somebody that you spoke with, it was a helicopter pilot, and there was an event…”
Dave Fravor: “This happened in the ’90s. They were picking up BQMs. BQM is a flying drone that we used for training.”
Jeremy Corbell: ‘Can you tell me that story? I think that’s important because it relates to this phenomenon.”
Dave Fravor: “He was picking up BQMs and torpedoes when they test run them. The BQM either has a parachute deployed as a flying drone… they’re painted bright orange, ship radars can track… they can do all kinds of training with them. When they’re done a parachute deploys and lands in the water, they float, and then they got to go pick them up. Same thing with the torpedo, if it’s a round, they’ll shoot it, when it’s all done it blows ballast then it floats and has a locator and you go find it. He had went out, I think he was off Puerto Rico, he saw this object coming up – when they were picking one up, it came up from below, it was big. So they were doing it again, they were going to pick some of them, they’re getting ready to put the diver in the water, he was on lift going down and then right after that the thing was coming up again so they pulled the diver up. The torpedo, or the BQM, is sitting there and it just gets sucked down and the object goes down and it disappears.”
Jeremy Corbell: “So there was a USO, unidentified submerged object, that was bigger than a submarine when they were trying to retrieve this thing – hold it under the water and took it.”
Dave Fravor: ‘It just gets sucked down. You know things just don’t sink rapidly either just get ‘boop’ and they’re gone. You know these things blow ballast so they don’t just go away. You know, they float. So something… something pulled it down.”
Jeremy Corbell: “OK so to be clear we’re talking about a buddy of yours, who is a helicopter pilot, who relayed a story about how a USO took this object down under the water, that’s made to float, not to be retrieved again. Is that correct?”
Dave Fravor: “That’s correct. It happened to him twice.”
Jeremy Corbell: ‘Twice.”
Dave Fravor: “Yeah, the first time when he saw it they got their drone up. And the second time was when he pulls the diver out of the water and the thing just got sucked down and disappeared.”
Jeremy Corbell: “Different locations, different drones, different days?”
Dave Fravor: “Same location, different drones, different days.”
Jeremy Corbell: “I mean that shows us that there’s just a lot going on that’s just not talked about.”
Dave Fravor: “You report stuff and people don’t do anything and it never comes out. There’s tons of stuff out there. I would say there’s a very low percentage of stuff that actually makes it to an official investigation or where anyone knows about it.”
During the To The Stars Academy presentation by Tom Delonge and Luis Elizondo at the CUN Conference in Italy, Elizondo made references to water. First, Lue described that these craft are able to operate in all mediums, including:
“The 4th observable is multi-medium travel. Once again, let’s pretend our pen is an aircraft. An aircraft looks like it’s an aircraft because it is a product of its environment. We as mankind, design things to function in specific environments. As an example, an airplane you can expect to have a nose, a tail, wings, control surfaces, etcetera. While a rocket, that’s designed for a vacuum, doesn’t need wings and doesn’t have a jet engine. In fact it has thrusters and uses a chemical explosion to get into orbit.
And lastly, let’s pretend this pen is submarine. A submarine does not look like a plane or a rocket. In fact it has a propeller and uses a combination of water and air to create buoyancy. And that is why a plane does not look like a rocket and a rocket does not look like a submarine. And they all perform quite differently. Yet, what we are seeing are things that can operate as freely in the atmosphere, as they can in a vacuum as they can under water, without changing their physical properties. And from a military perspective, one can imagine how advantageous this would be.”

Then, during a question and answer segment of the conference, Elizondo cited the relationship between UFOs and water:
Question: “When you’re talking about highly advanced, engineered material, it kind of implies that there’s an intelligence behind all those phenomena. What I’d like to know is…you being the former head of the AATIP project, did you consider the more interesting UAP cases to be driven by some kind of intelligence of whatever origin? Yes or no? And if yes, you must have thought about its motivations. What did you access in its behavior patterns that you have accessed? Are there repetitive patterns? Are there main things that they always do? Something that leads to a certain conclusion which they might repeat? Is there anything that gives you a hint as to what it is doing here? Repetitive patterns, activities or anything?”
Luis Elizondo: “My colleagues and I during the time of AATIP were very confident that these are certainly intelligently controlled. Now whether that means there’s something inside it or it’s something remote controlled like a UAV, both are still options. As far as patterns are concerned? Yes, there are absolute patterns that exist. At this point, I’m only prepared to vaguely refer to perhaps the potential of nuclear and water. And not necessarily having to be related: nuclear and water. But there are some patterns there and I’m not prepared to go into any more detail than that at this point. But there are some congruences.”
During the recent SCU conference in Alabama, Elizondo reiterated the craft’s ability to achieve multi-medium travel. However, this time he stated that these objects have been picked up on sonar:
“And yet, these things we’re seeing, can operate in all these environments, without changing their physical attributes and still continue to perform the same way. Now for those of you who are scientists, you know the drive coefficients we’re talking about when you’re in water. You look at a torpedo – and I can’t go into details here – but anything above a moderate speed under water – the drag becomes so significant, that it’s almost impossible to overcome unless you use other technologies to reduce that friction. Okay? And yet these things, can perform, just as easy. We pick ‘em up on radar. We pick ‘em up on sonar. And we pick them up on everything in between.”

And finally, Tom Delonge shocked everyone when he posted this on instagram in December, 2018:
The relationship between UFOs and water seems like it isn’t going to go away any time soon. Water seems to be as important as air in these sightings and possibly a better way to conceal activity. As more information comes out about the Gimbal Events, and maybe even accounts of USOs being pinned against the coast, the UFO community and hopefully the public at large will be presented with this idea over and over again.

Chris Jensen pointed out this example from Jacques Vallee’s book, “UFO Chronicles of the Soviet Union: A Cosmic Samizdat.”
“Obviously, the Soviet navy has taken the problem very seriously, for many years,” remarked Martine. “We had to. There were too many incidents that could not be denied. It all began when we tried to understand the nature of certain underwater objects that followed our submarines. At times they even anticipated our maneuvers! Initially, we thought they were American devices,” added Azhazha, raising a hand to his forehead as he recalled what must have been a difficult research project. “One day such an object came to the surface in a rather spectacular fashion. One of our icebreakers was working its way in the Arctic Ocean when a brilliant spherical craft suddenly broke through the ice and flew up vertically, showering the vessel with fragments of ice. All the sailors on deck and the officers on the bridge saw it. And it was hard to deny the hole in the ice!” “Could it have been a missile test?” Our interpreter quickly translated the question and obtained the following answer: “You don’t shoot a missile that way. You have to break the ice first. Furthermore, the object was a bright sphere. We knew what nuclear missiles looked like!” A jovial man with a friendly, round face and a quiet but intensely focused approach to his subject, Azhazha went on with his enumeration of some of the most remarkable UFO cases in the archives of the Soviet navy. “These phenomena were not limited to the Arctic. Our ships in the Pacific also reported flying objects, vertical cylinders.”
Puerto Rico also has a lot of USAF nuclear weapon activity.

‘I have come across in our Ocean, potentially, beings from another heavenly body, more highly-advanced than humans”.
Lamar said this in a video originally on YouTube, which was removed by OceanX a few weeks later, coincidentally an announcement was then made that James Cameron would be involved in a NatGeo six part series called Mission OceanX to be aired later in the year. The description of the ‘Beings from another heavenly body’ given by Lamar are strikingly similar to the NTI’s depicted in the movie ‘The Abyss’, he goes on to say in the video…
“Some, sort of, you know, hyper-advanced aquatic alien creatures inhabiting the shallow waters, which almost look like stingrays”
